Amy offers somatic-oriented therapy, group facilitation, and ritual. She delights in supporting people to feel more at home in themselves and in the world.

Through one-on-one sessions, workshops, group-programs, and tailored ritual, she supports nervous system regulation, felt connection, cultural repair and embodied transformation. Her trauma-informed approach is relational, paced, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s innate intelligence and capacity to heal.

Amy is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and Feldenkrais® Practitioner. Her work is resourced by a long-term somatic meditation practice, inner relationship Focusingand a background in the arts.

She lives and works between Wurundjeri and Wadawurrung Country with her partner and three children, and is a founding member of Coming to Life, a facilitation collective blending somatics, courageous dialogue, decolonising education, and nature connection.

Each of us can recover our capacities to be like a tree whose roots find water and whose branches find the sun.

Amy Huon lives and works within Wurundjeri Country and Wadawurrung Country and offers her respect and gratitude to the traditional owners of these lands, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people who continue to heal, work, and practice ceremony on Country, and have done, for thousands of generations.
